Cotswold Color Block Blanket- Beginner Friendly Free Crochet Pattern

October 28, 2024

Make a matching blanket to your Moule Hole Cotswold patterns! My friend Christina from One Loop Crochet has guest designed this simple blanket that uses the same lemon peel stitch as the other patterns in the Cotswold series. With basic single and double crochet stitches, this gender neutral pattern creates a beautiful texture without too many holes. It’s an easy one row repeat (so it is also fully reversible!) and is perfect for TV crocheting. This version is made with four colours of nearly equal size stripes, but this blanket is very adaptable and will look great in multiple colours or a single colour. See notes below on adjusting the size of the blanket.

The Cotswold Bonnet is really easy and super quick to make. It’s cozy and thick because it uses Aran (number 4) yarn. This bonnet will only take you a few hours to make! The pattern is free here, or if you would like to purchase the ad free, colour coordinated version that is easy to access from your phone or i-pad, no scrolling involved you can easily grab the pdf pattern now.

Also check out the matching Cotswold Sweater! It’s the perfect cozy oversized pullover for chilly days. It reminds me of something a shepherd or shepherdess might wear here in the Cotswolds while tending to their sheep. The timeless style and gender neutral design make this sweater one you will want to make over and over again. Get your copy now at shopthemoulehole.com.
