A Beautiful Textured Crochet Pixie Bonnet

The Henrietta Bonnet is a texture lover’s dream. Using hdc shell stitches and front & back post double crochet stitches I was able to design this pixie bonnet in 5 sizes from 0-3 months up to 3-5 years. The bonnet is worked up into a long rectangle, folded in half and seamed at the back so it’s a perfect advanced beginner project. There is a small amount of shaping around the neck to tighten the fit and then two simple straps are stitched using single crochet stitches. Voila! You have a gorgeous bonnet to keep your little one warm on a breezy day. Pair it with the Henrietta Cardigan to complete the look.

The Henrietta Cardigan

Do you want to to make the matching cardigan to go with our lovely Henrietta Bonnet? The Henrietta Cardigan is the perfect mix of modern and vintage. There is a gorgeous intricate lace detailing incorporated into the design that will give you such joy! The cardigan is worked from the top down all in one piece. Only simple stitches are used including hdc, dc, fpdc, bpdc and chs. I used a cotton dk yarn but this would work equally well in acrylic or wool. Style the cardigan with a dress or with your little one’s favourite pair of jeans and they will look adorable. Get your copy of this beautiful cardigan at shopthemoulehole.com.
